This meal is a great comfort food meal! I love that you can cook all of this at once! I use this steamer basket. Perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients needed:
• 6-7 chicken tenders
• 2 c chicken broth
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp minced garlic dried
• 1/2 tsp minced onion dried
• 1/2 tsp parsley dried
• salt and pepper to taste
• 5 potatoes peeled and diced
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1/4 c water
How to make Chicken & Mashed Potatoes in the Instant Pot/ Pressure Cooker:
Step 1:
Pour the chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, onion, and parsley into the Instant Pot.
Step 2:
Add the chicken tenders on top.
Step 3:
Peel and dice the potatoes and place in a steamer basket.
Step 4:
Put the steamer basket on top of the chicken in the Instant Pot.
Step 5:
Pressure cook on HIGH for 6 minutes, with a 6 minute NPR.
Step 6:
Remove the potatoes from the Instant Pot and mash the potatoes. Add butter, milk, salt & pepper to the potatoes and mash them.
Step 7:
Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot and set aside.
Step 8:
Turn the Instant Pot onto saute. Create the cornstarch slurry with the cornstarch and water.
Step 9:
Once the gravy is boiling, add the cornstarch. Add only until the gravy is thickened to the way you like. Enjoy!

- 5 potatoes (peeled and diced)
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 c water

Pour the chicken broth, garlic, onion, and parsley into the pressure cooker.

Add the chicken tenders on top.

Peel and dice the potatoes and place in a steamer basket.

Put the steamer basket on top of the chicken in the pressure cooker.

Pressure cook on HIGH for 6 minutes with a 6 minute NPR.

Remove the potatoes and mash. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper to the potatoes and mash them.

Remove the chicken and set aside.
