Apple cinnamon bread is so good! It’s a special treat and perfect for gift giving near the holidays!
We used this Wilton bread baking pan to make it much easier to make mini loaves. You can easily wrap them in clear bread bags with a festive ribbon!
Ingredients needed include:
• 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 2/3 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 large apple, peeled and finely chopped
How to make Apple Cinnamon Bread
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2:
Grease and flour your bread or mini loaf pan.
Step 3:
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl and set aside.
Step 4:
Mix white sugar and butter until smooth.
Step 5:
Pour half the batter into the prepared pan.
Step 6:
Add eggs and vanilla and continue to mix until combined. Add flour and baking powder, then milk.
Step 7:
Cover with half of the apples. Pat apples into batter.
Step 8:
Sprinkle with half of sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Step 9:
Pour the remaining batter over apple layer and then top with remaining apples and add more brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Step 10:
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
