This easy and simple casserole is a dinner recipe full of your favorite burger toppings. This one-pot cheeseburger casserole brings the cheeseburger to a whole new level.
This recipe allows you to put all the juicy flavors of your favorite burger into casserole form. It’s like your favorite Hamburger Helper only better using your own ingredients. I use a larger casserole dish in this recipe.

EASY CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE INGREDIENTS
ground beef
pasta shells
shredded cheddar cheese
shredded mozzarella cheese
tomato soup
salt and pepper
SUBSTITUTIONS
CHEESE: The combination of mozzarella and cheddar gives this casserole delicious flavors, but you could substitute another type of cheese such as Colby Jack or Pepper Jack cheese.
PASTA: Our favorite for this recipe is shells, but you could also use rotini noodles or macaroni in this casserole or use any of your favorite small pasta that can grab onto the meat and cheese mixture.
BACON: You could also add bacon bits for an extra crunch and to turn it into a bacon cheeseburger casserole.
HOW TO MAKE CHEESY HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Brown the ground beef and drain. Cook pasta shells and drain.
Add together all ingredients (saving a little cheese), stir, and pour into a casserole dish.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
You can also make this recipe into a freezer meal. Prepare the dish right up to the baking step. Let cool and cover with foil before freezing. Thaw and bake as directed.
HOW TO SERVE EASY CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE
A side salad and roll would be great with the beef, cheese, and noodles of this meal. You can also add lettuce, tomatoes, and crumbled bacon to go on the top of the casserole.

- 2 c mozzarella cheese
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1/2 c water
- salt and pepper

- Add together all ingredients (saving a little cheese), stir, and pour into a casserole dish.
- Top with remaining cheese.
