I use sauce that you can find in the grocery aisle and I usually mix it up between Rao’s and Ragu.

Serve this dish with a side salad, Ceasar salad or veggies. We also enjoy garlic bread with this dish. My kids always like the five-cheese garlic bread.
Pro Tips
To make this dish ahead of time, follow instructions for assembly then cover and refrigerate. When you are ready to cook, bake it for 45-60 minutes.
Some prefer more sauce, just add 1/2-1 jar of marinara sauce or drained tomatoes.
The breadcrumb topping is fantastic, and if you want more just double the topping recipe.
If you would rather not use rotisserie chicken, you can use cooked or canned chicken. Want to mix it up even more, just use Italian Sausage which is equally incredible.
Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or in the freezer for 2 months.
