- Pasta: What I love about this garlic chicken pasta recipe is you can use any kind of pasta that you like. I typically use rotini for this one if I have that on hand.
- Chicken breast: I typically use boneless skinless chicken breast or tenders; you could also use boneless skinless chicken thighs.
- Seasonings: Normally, I use a combination of garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper to add more flavor to this dish.
- Butter: The butter helps cook the garlic and adds to the flavor, anyone that follows my page knows my love for Kerrygold.
- Heavy cream: The heavy cream gives this chicken pasta a creamy texture that is absolutely delicious.
- Parmesan cheese: You can’t really have an Italian dish without some Parmesan cheese. I typically use the shredded kind that you can put on top for melting.
How to make Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
- Add. Add the chicken broth and pasta to the pressure cooker.
- Top. Sprinkle the seasonings next (Italian, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper).
- Prepare. Place the chicken tenders or breasts cut into strips on top.
- Cook. Pressure cook on HIGH for 8 minutes with an 8 minute NPR (natural pressure release).
- Shred. Remove the cooked chicken, shred and set aside.
- Add. Stir in the heavy cream, butter and Parmesan cheese. Return the lid and let the pressure cooker sit on warm for 5 minutes.
- Serve. Add chicken back to your dish and stir. Enjoy!
