Ingredients needed to make Dr. Pepper Ribs
2-3 lb baby back ribs
3 c Dr. Pepper
½ tsp liquid smoke
1 tbsp. seasoning salt
6 tbsp BBQ dry rub
2 c sweet BBQ sauce divided
How to make Instant Pot Dr. Pepper BBQ Ribs
1. Pat dry the rack of ribs with a paper towel and rub on your dry ingredients on both sides.
2. In the Instant Pot, combine Dr. Pepper, liquid smoke and 1 cup of bbq sauce.
3. Coil the rack of ribs inside with the bone-side facing the center. Ribs should all be partially submerged.
4. Cook on high pressure for 30 min followed by a 10 min natural pressure release before manually releasing remaining pressure.
5. Using two sets of tongs, carefully transfer ribs to a rimmed baking sheet lined with a wire rack with the meat side up. Brush the top and sides with the remaining 1 cup BBQ sauce.
6. Cut rack in half and place both halves side by side in the air fryer basket for 4 min on high at 350 degrees.
