Dr.Pepper Pulled BBQ

Ready to serve this up for dinner tonight? In under an hour, you could have pulled pork sandwiches that are tender, juicy, and filled with flavor. Pile on a sandwich or top some coleslaw, and bite into this simple Instant Pot pulled pork recipe.

These sandwiches bring all the flavors to the table! With a mixture of great BBQ (Head Country & Sweet Baby Ray’s are delicious), Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and Dr. Pepper!! Soo good!! Love it paired with sweet or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients needed:

• 2-4 lbs boneless pork butt

• Dr. Pepper soda (1 can)

• 1 cup water

• 1 cup BBQ sauce (1/2 at the end)

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

• salt & pepper to taste

How to make Dr. Pepper pulled BBQ

Step 1:

Place all ingredients (except 1/2 cup BBQ sauce) into the pressure cooker & cover.

Step 2:

Set to cook on manual high pressure cooking for 20 minutes per lb for fresh, 30 minutes per lb for frozen.

Step 3:

Use natural release 10 minutes.

Step 4:

Quick release & open the lid.

Step 5:

Transfer pork to a large bowl & pull apart.

Step 6:

Toss with bbq sauce before serving. Enjoy!
