Macaroni and cheese is a favorite at our house. I think my little boy could eat this at every meal! Making it in the pressure cooker is so easy. Just put in your broth, macaroni and butter and pressure cook. When complete, add in the milk and cheeses with a hint of salt and pepper. Sooo creamy and good!
We use sharp cheddar and Parmesan. You could really use any cheese of choice, whatever is you favorite!
Easy Macaroni and Cheese
- 3 c chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c Parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 c sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- salt and pepper to taste
Place the broth, butter and macaroni pasta in the Instant Pot.
Pressure cook for 3 minutes on HIGH with 2 minutes NPR.
Quick release the pressure when the pasta has finished cooking.
Pour in the milk and all the cheese. Stir until well combined, season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
