This easy chicken meal can be on your table in 30 minutes. This is one of those recipes that I always have in mind when I need something simple and I usually have the items on hand. This one does not require much planning, but tastes incredibly delicious.
The best part is that this Instant Pot chicken and gravy recipe only takes about 30 minutes to make, which is why it’s one of my favorite Instant Pot chicken dinners.
HOW TO MAKE INSTANT POT CHICKEN AND GRAVY
It’s really easy to make this flavorful chicken and gravy in the pressure cooker.
INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- Water
- Chicken Gravy Mix
- Black Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Cream of chicken soup
- Season chicken (both sides) with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- In your Instant Pot, whisk together the gravy packets, cream of chicken soup, and water until smooth.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts. Be sure to get them covered in gravy.
- Pressure cook for 9 minutes with a 5 minute natural pressure release.
- Once cooked, shred chicken.
- Stir in sour cream (optional). Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c water
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
- garlic powder, salt, pepper
- 1/2 c sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken (both sides) with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- In your Instant Pot, whisk together the gravy packets, cream of chicken soup, and water until smooth.
