One Pot Ground Beef Stroganoff
This one pot dish never disappoints. I have been making this in the Instant Pot for a few years but decided to try it in my favorite Always Pan and it came out equally delicious. If you prefer the Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff, check out that version. Using the Always Pan, it really didn’t take long for this dish to come together.
The creamy sauce in beef stroganoff is rich and comforting, making it a satisfying and indulgent meal option. It’s perfect for warming up on a cold evening. Making the ground beef stroganoff all in one pot and cooking the pasta in the broth along with the ground beef infuses the noodles with some amazing flavor.

3. Add in the garlic or garlic powder, fry for two more minutes, then drain any remaining grease from the skillet.
4. Stir in the beef broth, egg noodles, cream of mushroom and sour cream and stir to submerge completely in the mixture.

Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe Tips & Tricks
- If you add onions, make sure they are cooked before you add anything else to the skillet. Onions may not cook once sauces are added. Ground beef and onions can cook at the same time, you need the long cooking time for the onions.
- You can substitute in ground pork or turkey if you prefer.
- If the broth evaporates before your noodles are cooked, simply add in a 1/2 cup more at a time until it’s cooked as each pan is different.
- Mushrooms go incredibly well in this recipe.
- You can use beef strips in this recipe as well instead of the ground beef.
Overall, trying a one-pot ground beef stroganoff can be a convenient, tasty, and satisfying meal option that fits well into many households’ busy schedules.
