Pumpkin Twists are so fun to make! Using crescent rolls filled with flavors of pumpkin & spice, these are the perfect fall treat!
Ingredients needed:
• 1 can (8 oz) crescent rolls
• 15 oz. pure pumpkin puree
• 3 Tbsp butter, melted
• 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
CREAM CHEESE ICING:
• 1/4 cup butter, softened
• 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
• 1 c powdered sugar
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
How to make Pumpkin Twists:
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2:
Open crescent dough and lay out flat on prepared baking sheet.
Step 3:
Spread pumpkin onto 2 of the rectangles.
Step 4:
Fold the other 2 rectangles on top of the pumpkin. Press edges together.
Step 5:
Brush melted butter on top of rectangles. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.
Step 6:
Using a pizza cutter, cut into strips..
Step 7:
Twist each strip a few times and sprinkle with remaining pumpkin pie spice.
Step 8:
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
MAKE CREAM CHEESE ICING:
Step 9:
In a large bowl, beat together the butter and cream cheese. Add the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat in the vanilla extract.
Step 10:
Ice tops of each pumpkin pie twist.
