Starburst slime is so fun! Do one color or all of them and make a rainbow. All you need is starburst, corn starch and powdered sugar. Simple ingredients to make fun stretchy slime.

We discovered that it is best to use bowls and spoons that are disposable such as these.

Starburst slime is smooth and not sticky while in use. If the slime gets a little hard to stretch after being stored or played with for a long time just put it back into the microwave for 5-10 seconds and it will be soft and easy to play with again!

Ready to get started making this fun stretchy slime!?

Step 1:

Unwrap all of the Starburst candy and separate them by color.

Step 2:

Mix 1/4 cup of corn starch and powdered sugar and then pour them both onto parchment paper.

Step 3:

Pour each color of Starburst into a microwave safe bowl then heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds. I recommend disposable bowls.

Step 4:

Remove the bowl and stir. If all are not melted, microwave for an additional 15 seconds then stir it again.

Step 5:

After it is smooth, allow it to rest in the bowl for 5 minutes or until cool.

Step 6:

Use your hands to press the powders into the Starburst and continue to add corn starch and powdered sugar until your Starburst slime is perfect and no longer sticky. Repeat steps for other colors.

How to Store your slime:

Store in a plastic bag or airtight container. To play again, heat each flavor in a disposable bowl for 15-20 seconds then allow it to cool until able to touch. Add corn starch or powdered sugar if too sticky and if it is too dry add a bit of coconut oil.
