Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 box Kraft Mac & Cheese

Taco seasoning packet

8 oz. sour cream

1/4 c butter

1/4 c milk

1/2 c crunched taco shells or chips

1 c taco shredded cheese (divided)

1/2 c salsa

How to make Taco Pie:

1. In the pressure cooker, combine the macaroni, cheese packet, butter, milk with 1 1/2 c water. Seal the lid and cook on manual high pressure for 3 minutes. Allow a 3-4 minute Natural Pressure Release. Release the rest of the pressure, then open the lid.

2. Stir the macaroni and break them up. Add in the sour cream and 1/2 cup taco shredded cheese and stir. Remove from the pressure cooker.

3. Clean the pressure cooker pot and then add in the beef. Use the sauté feature to brown meat until no longer pink. Add in taco seasoning and 3/4 cup water. Simmer until well combined. Remove from pressure cooker and clean pot.

4. In a push or springform pan, layer macaroni mixture and meat mixture twice with a third and final layer of the macaroni. Add a cup of water to the Instant Pot and lower the pan on a trivet. Cover with foil and pressure cook for 12 minutes with 10 minutes natural release.

5. Remove from IP and add crunched taco shells or chips, 1/2 cup taco shredded cheese and salsa.

6. Cut into triangles, serve and enjoy.

This is the push pan used in this recipe.
